London,. . . Apr 2. . .  They write from Paris that the
proclaiming of the peace, and the dedication for the King's
equestrian statue, as well as all the festivities with which
they were accompanied, are further postpon'd to the month of
May next; the real cause of which we know not.  A few days
ago the scaffolds, destined for placing the hogsheads of
wine, and bands of music, were taken down.
