Chelmsford, Nov, [sic] 4. . . Last week two of the
Glamorganshire militia quartered in Bristol, after receiving
a thousand lashes each at three different times, were
drummed out of the regiment for receiving money of the
French prisoners confined at Knowle, for permitting them to
make their escape. As soon as they were properly dismissed
from the military service, a body of sailors conducted them
on board a man of war in King-road.
