Last week two of the Glamorganshire militia quartered in Bristol, after receiving a thousand lashes each at three different times, were drummed out of the regiment for receiving money of the French prisoners confined at Knowle, for permitting them to make their escape. As soon as they were properly dismissed from the military service, a body of sailors conducted them on board a man of war in King-road. |
