Ten pistoles reward, Run away from Baltimore-Town,
Maryland, a convict servant man, named Richard Bryant, an
Irish man, but last from London in the ship Dolphin, Capt
Craymor, a painter by trade, a well made fellow, of about 5
feet 8 inches high, and about 28 years of age, of a
tolerable address, brown complexion, short curl'd hair, had
on when he went away, a blue broad cloth coat, with a velvet
cape, blue jacket, and snuff-colour'd breeches, black ribb'd
worsted stockings, but had a variety of other cloaths, some
of which he may have taken with him; he also took with him a
violin on which he plays well, and is a good singer, and is
suppos'd to have with him some cash in guineas; he was
enticed away by one Samuel South, a convict in the ship
Neptune, Capt. Dawson, to Potomack, (but had money enough to
purchase his freedom) a tall lusty man of ruddy complexion,
appears somewhat bloated by excessive drinking, is a fellow
of a genteel appearance, and is said to have spent a good
deal of money, and probably has some with him, and has a
pass. Whoever takes up and secures the said Samuel South,
that he may be bro't to justice, and Richard Bryant, that
his master may have him again, shall if taken together be
intitled to the above reward, and for Richard Bryant only
four pistoles and reasonable charges paid by Barnabas
Hughes.
N.B. The above Samuel South has been heard say that he
intended for Halifax, where he has some friends or
relations.
