Extract of a letter from Cologn, Dec. 23. . . They write
from Leipsick, that the King of Prussia remains in perfect
health; that he takes the air every afternoon on horseback,
and passed part of the evenings in playing on the German
flute, or some other instrument, or in conversation with his
Generals or with men of learning, and that he had sent to
Magdebourg for the two young Princes his nephews; that the
men wounded at Torgau recovered fast, and that the reports
of a speedy accommodation between the powers at war seemed
to be wholly vanished, their animosity being as great as
ever.
