London. . . May 15. . . This morning about seven o'clock
the three battalions of foot-guards, a prime body of the
English troops, by beat of drum, were under arms: About
eight, his Majesty, attended by the Prince of Wales, Prince
Edward, Sir John Ligonier, his lords of the bed-chamber, and
several other noblemen and officers of great distinction,
came from Kensington-palace-garden, into Hyde-park, where,
under the shelter of a great tree, the troops pass'd a
review by his Majesty.---They went off Englishmen-like, and
made a grand appearance, with which his Majesty was greatly
pleased. . .
