Extract of a letter from Portsmouth, dated Novemb. 19. . .
Yesterday evening about six the brave General Blakeney
landed, amidst the acclamation of the populace, in good
health, and afterwards went to the assembly:  Bonfires were
made, the bells rang all night, and the greatest
demonstrations of joy were strewn on the sign of the brave
old (81 yrs.) general.
