London. . .   July 24.  It being customary to ring the bells
upon the arrival of great personages at their country seats,
it is said that the custom was lately omitted on the arrival
of a certain B----p at his 
d----se this summer; and that on his L----p's enquiring the
reason of it, he was told, that they had no Aaron's bells;
and that Christian bells were not a proper compliment for a
Jew B----p.
