Ran away the 14th instant, from his master Eleazer Tyng,
Esq; of Dunstable, a Negro man named Pompey, about 40 years
of age, middling stature, heavy eyed, one of his fingers is
reckoned to be so crooked that he cannot hold it out
streight ; he carried away with him a homespun grey coat
with yellow metal buttons, 2 jackets, one a scarlet cloath
with a pink coloured lining, and white metal buttons, the
other blue German serge, buttons of the same colour, red
shalloon lining, light blue German serge breeches, white
metal buttons, a white linen and a woollen shirt, grey yarn
stockings, a pair of pumps, one felt and one bever hat, and
a white linen cap.  He can play on a violin.  Whoever shall
take up said runaway, and convey him to his said master at
Dunstable, or to Mess. Alford and Tyng, merchants at Boston,
shall receive five dollars as a reward, and all necessary
charges paid.  Eleazer Tyng.
  N.B.  All masters of vessels and other are hereby
cautioned against harbouring or carrying off said servant,
as they would avoid the penalty of the law in that case made
and provided.
