Thursday last being St. John the Evangelist's Day, the
ancient and honorable Society of Free and Accepted Masons
attended Divine Service in the King's Chapel, and from
thence proceeded to the house of their worshipful Grand
Master, where they form'd themselves into order, and in a
regular procession marched to the Royal Exchange Tavern in
King Street, to an elegant dinner there provided for them,
and concluded the day with great decency and decorum; and on
this evening the Masons gave a ball to the sisters and
ladies of the town, in Commemoration of St. John.
