Berlin, Apr 1. The opera of Angelica and Medor, which was
represented on the Queen Dowager's birth day, was
inexpressibly magnificent. The temple of Venus, with thirty
actors and actresses, descended out of the clouds, to the
great admiration of all the spectators, of whom there were
upwards of four thousand; the whole was conducted with the
greatest decency, and without the least accident; and it is
said the expence of the representation amounted to twenty
thousand florins.
