Manchester, Apr 28.  Last Friday about two o'clock arrived
here from Newcastle the confirmation of the accounts
received before, that the army commanded by the British
hero, the Duke of Cumberland, had obtained a compleat
victory over the rebels.  Bonfires were im[   ] made, the
bells rung, and at night most of the houses in town were
illuminated.
