London, Aug 1. . . By letters from the Grand Duke's army,
we learn, that they lately discovered a young woman, who
served seven years and a half in the Regiment of Keyl as a
drummer, and had in that time distinguished herself by her
bravery on several occasions. His Royal Highness ordered
her cloaths proper to her sex, sent her to Vienna, and
allows her a pension for life.
