Paris, July 26. O.S. We sung Te Deum again on the 23d of
this month, for the important conquests of Bruges, and
Oudenard. At the King's entry into the former, the people
shewed such transports of joy, that his Majesty could not
help saying, there scarce needed an army to reduce such a
city. To say the truth, the willingness the Flemings have
shewn to shake off the Austrian yoke, and the backwardness
of the Dutch to declare war against us, has been of as much
service to the King as the army he has employ'd during this
glorious campaign in the Low-Countries.
