London.  Sept. 16.  As it is to be hop'd we never shall have
any more Italian operas, it is also to be wish'd that the
persons who give such large sums to the encouragement of
that------diversion, and strollers from Italy, may employ
their largesses and contributions for the future towards the
establishment of an hospital for foundlings, in imitation of
other Christian countries, Protestants as well as Roman
Catholicks; and for the encouragement of useful learning, by
enabling the Royal Society to distribute prizes ever year,
like Les Acadames des Sciences, Arts, et Belles Letters, in
France.
