London. August 5.  Yesterday a press gang, with a drum
before them, as if they were beating up for voluntiers, went
through the streets of Westminster with good success; by
that stratagem carrying off near forty. . . Between 7 and
8000 men have been impress'd for the sea service since
Tuesday se'nnight, besides a great number have enter'd as
voluntiers.
