By order of his Excellency our governour, last Monday was
celebrated here in a splendid manner, on occasion of the
glad tydings lately receiv'd from London, of an addition to
his Majesty's illustrious and august family, by the birth of
his Royal Highness Prince George, only son to his Royal
Highness the Prince of Wales, born the 24th day of May last.

was pleas'd to give an elegant ball at Mrs. Austin's Long
Room, to a great number of the principal gentlemen and
ladies of the town, on this happy and joyful occasion.
