[London] August 2. On Sunday last their Majesties, their
Royal Highnesses the Prince and Princess of Wales, and the
rest of the royal family, din'd in publick at Hampton Court.
After dinner, her Royal Highness not being very well, the
same was notify'd to her Majesty, and immediately after
orders were given for the coaches to get in readiness for
their Royal Highnesses to come to St. James's, and some
hours after her Royal Highness was safely deliver'd of a
Princess, by Mrs. Cannon of Jermyn Street. About eleven
o'clock yesterday the guns in the park and at the tower were
fir'd, and at night there were bonfires, ringing of bells,
illuminations, and other demonstrations of joy in the
publick streets of this city and Westminster.
