London. . . Octob. 30. On Tuesday night last, as his Royal
Highness the Prince of Wales was going in his chair from the
opera-house in the Hay-market, to Carleton-house, and
crossing the way over-against St. Alban's street, a coachman
driving very fast, the pole of the coach went into his
Highness's chair, and broke one of the glass windows of the
chair to pieces; but by the great care of the yeomen
attending his Highness, who immediately beat back the
horses, his Highness received no damage.
