This day John Rowe, Esq; was installed Grand-master of the
free and accepted Masons, for all America, in the room of
the late worshipful Jeremy Gridley, Esq; -- The fraternity,
after the ceremony, preceded by their officers, and attended
by a fine band of musick belonging to the military quartered
in town, walked in procession from the Hall to Trinity
church, where an excellent sermon, adapted to the occasion,
was preached by the Rev. Brother Bass, of Newbury-Port; . .
