Dublin, Octo. 15. . .  Last Saturday Capt. Thomas Taylor of
the Grange, and of the Right Hon. the Lord Mayors of Foot,
mounted the main guard with his militia, composed of
citizens and house-keepers of good fortunes most of whom
appeared in full regimental cloathing and many entierly
accoutred with belts &c. and made a very handsome figure. 
The captain, from a spirit of loyalty to his Majesty and
government, and regard to his company, treated them in a
most elegant manner, by giving them a buck in venison
pasties &c. several hampers of wine and shrub, and a barrel
of ale, attended by a very good band of musick; and to the
great honour of the company, notwithstanding this great
plenty and elegance, not a single person was in the least
disguised in liquor, but every one did his duty in the most
regular manner. . .
