Dublin, June 13 . . .  On the confirmation of the success of
his Majesty's forces now under the brave Admiral Vernon,
Col. Jeuers of Mount Jeuers in the county of Clare,
assembled his troop of militia dragoons, and being attended
by several gentlemen of the neighbourhood, went to his
turrett of Fort St. George . . . [10 lines, bonfire, cannon,
illuminations] the night concluding with a handsome ball and
other rejoicings.
  On the arrival of the news of the great and happy success
at Carthagena, the great guns at the barricks were fired and
answered by vollies from the Regiments of foot.  In all the
evening there were ringing of bells, bonfires, illuminations
. . .
