Dublin, Apr 19. . . Apr 22. They write from Ballymony in
the county of Antrim, that the post of the 15th of this
instant, having carried there the agreeable news of the
Right Hon. Alexander Earl of Antrim's being married last
Thursday to Miss Pennefather, Capt. Alexander Mc Aulay, John
Coppage, Esq; and Mr. Patrick Mc Cormick, attorney at law,
in his Highland dress, with several Highland pipes, (and
other persons of distinction) met at the house of Mr. Daniel
Mc Nail, and caused a hogshead of whisky to be put into a
brewing kettle and set fire to it in the open street, where
they continued drinking a good health to their young Lord
and Countess, and Lord Dunluce in the box; and danc'd round
the kettle, and at every bumper huzza'd, and cry'd out Lord
Antrim and his Countess forever; so that the whole night was
concluded with ringing of bells, piping, dancing, drinking,
broken bones, and other demonstrations of joy.
