Stockholm, February 20. O.S. Friday last the 15th instant
being the anniversary of the present King of Sweden's
arrival at Stockholm, their Swedish Majesties received in
the evening the complements of the nobility and foreign
ministers on this occasion: there was a very splendid ball
at court, their Majesties supped in publick, and an Ode in
the German language, composed by a very distinguished genius
in this country was sung to a fine concert of musick. There
were likewise several tables, at which the ladies and
persons of distinction present were magnificently
entertained. After supper the ball began again, and
continued till their Majesties retired.
