New York, March 14. . . The same day one William Smith of
Charlestown near Boston, and one Hannah Travis of this
place, commonly known as dancing Hannah, were tryed, the
former for three several felonies, and the latter for being
accessory to two of the said felonies. . . [6 lines] And the
said William Smith and Hannah Travis received the sentence
of death.
