David, I've had the pleasure of your musical company in several contexts, but I think playing for services at First Church Somerville will always be my favorite. So I'm sharing some photos from a few of those services with gratitude for all the musical moments I've experienced as a direct or indirect result of knowing you. Thanks for every one of them.

March 2015: The first time we played at FCS. It was a challenge to find a date that worked, and it almost didn't happen. But in the end we managed to squeeze it in on the one weekend in between when David returned from a bunch of winter travel and when I left for a temporary move out of state. I'm really glad it worked out, because playing for that service led to playing for many more.March 2015: The first time we played at FCS. April 2018: This time we roped in music director Greg Woodsbie on piano as well.April 2018: This time we roped in music director Greg Woodsbie on piano as well.

February 2019: This isn't the greatest quality photo but I'm including it anyway. We had just finished the postlude at the end of the service - a really fun set of energetic reels - and I love the joyful moment of musical camaraderie this captures, even though it's blurry.February 2019: This isn't the greatest quality photo but I'm including it anyway. And June 2019: We played this service right after a full week of music camp at NHMC, so getting up early enough was a challenge - but a totally worthwhile one!And June 2019: We played this service right after a full week of music camp at NHMC, so getting up early enough was a challenge - but a totally worthwhile one!
