Join us this summer!

Each summer, the Country Dance and Song Society runs several residential weeks for adults and families where we get to experience traditional English and Anglo-American dance and music in beautiful outdoor settings. Each weeklong program has a unique focus and each offers a different mix of dance, music, song and special workshops. There are daily classes, a dance party each evening (sometimes with a concert), followed by late-night activities, plus there is swimming, canoeing, and relaxing with old friends and new. Not to mention the scrumptious meals, fresh air, and break from our daily hectic lives.

The three camp facilities are very special places -- Ogontz, in the White Mountains of New Hampshire; Pinewoods, literally in a pine woods near Plymouth, Massachusetts; and Timber Ridge, in the hills of northern West Virginia.

To learn more about what life is like at our programs see Camp Life or take a look at the Photo Gallery.

The information about specific camp programs will continue to evolve over the coming weeks.  Be sure you return to check out updated staff, course, and general camp information!

Testimonials

"Pinewoods is a … unique and magical place. Since I started contra dancing ten years ago, the folk community has been an increasingly important part of my life. I recently started learning to play piano and began learning to call. Experiences like Pinewoods just invigorate my already passionate energy for … dancing and the community that it creates."
